Organicaly vs Naturaly grown
With the new rules, we are not allowed to call our products organic , though they are grown organicly by our contract farmers.... Not even our forest products ( what could be more organic ? ) we are allowed to call organic !
From now on we will use the expression " naturaly grown "
The problem with organic certificates is : you can get the land, where you grow something, certified, as being organic, after passing the soil test.
But who will control, that the product one sells, was grown on that particular land ?
A food product can be easy checked for pesticides, but not, wether it was grown organic or not .
Since we buy our grains from different farmers, each farmer would have to get his land certified as being organic, a difficult process, specialy in such remote areas. The farmers there have enough natural fertilizers from their cows and goats, they would not spend unnessecary money for chemical fertilisers

Plastic pouches vs paper pouches vs cloth pouches
For selling our products in shops around India , ( besides those in glass - or plastic jars ) we still us plastic pouches for some items. Not that we are ignorant about the problems, plastic creates for the environment,but its simply because we could not find any alternative, good enough, to prevent ants and other insects to enter the product . Also it protects against humidity. And paper bag break easy…
The new trend, to use pouches , which look from outside like brown paper, but have a plastic coating inside, feels like cheating : You hiding the plastic with some paper around . Then the plastic bag is more honest, it does not use unnessecary paper around to hide …
So we request customers, who do not want to get their product in a plastic bag, to mention it in the message box together with the order . We will pack inI strong paper, or with paper and cloth bag around.
Complaints   rejects  returns
It is commen practice, that once opened food items, cannot be returned. But in case, you have a valid complaint, pls write to us ( better with a foto ) and we look into the matter . Since customers satisfaction is our priority, you can be assured, that we will replace an item, when we found the complaint to be genuine.
